
Jennifer has always wanted become a multi-tasking celeb. Growing up she was a fan of a range of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue and bachata. She also enjoyed mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop and R&B. The music she loved was equally fascinated by the film industry. The most influential film she was influenced by was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Apart from becoming a budding entertainer, Jennifer had also been a Catholic girl who spent eight years at an Catholic elementary school called Holy Family located at The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls prep school, Preston High School after the four-year period. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete who competed in the track and field as well as tennis in high school, was also an excellent student. The Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for the duration of her time. Jennifer left her parents' home at 18 , to leave. Lopez worked in a law firm throughout this time. She also began performing dance at night.
